Kathy Lehman (doctor’s wife) runs the facility and is very cautious around coverage. In 2024, I got Kathy to allow Dextenza to be used with commercial coverage, and we had challenges since BCBS is their largest commercial payor and requires using the CAP program on every claim. Their personnel could not handle the workload on the ground. In the past 6 months I had a speaker program in this account and Chandra had a FRM program with the office. Our persistence paid off and we have been able to move into Med Advantage and commercial plans excluding BCBS.
